In 2019,The Stage Door Cafe celebrates 20 years since first opening. At first it thrived being in what was back then the city centre. Being surrounded by all the Broadway shops, Farmers and the old bus station, Stage Door Cafe was 'the place to be'.However over the years the Broadway shops, Farmers & the old bus station moved away and so did a lot of it's customers. 5 years ago, it had a new lease of life and is slowly, BUT surely rising from the ashes. Stage Door Cafe is unique, it has it's own vibe, and once again is humming. There is still lots more to come, so be sure to watch this space Stage Door Cafe is a bit of an icon in Palmerston North. We are situated in the Regent Arcade, just down from the Regent Theatre. Apart from it's querky interior, we offer a warm, friendly & welcoming atmosphere for you to relax in. In the winter we are warm & cosy, in the summer, all day sun & plenty of outdoor seating. We take full advantage of our name 'Stage Door' and love the chance to participate in occasions like Halloween and theatre shows. Our food & service is outstanding and has won us placings in many hospo awards. Our staff have loads of hospotality experience and will make you feel welcome whilst doing there best to make your experince with us an enjoyable one. We at Stage Door are lucky that our staff like to stay . Most of our team have been with us for 4 years or more. We have loads of hospo experience, we are outgoing, friendly and professional. We interact with our customers and we know many many of our customers by name. You will always be welcomed and we hope you leave feeling your custom was appreciated.
