The Phat Duck is unaccompanied owned and run by husband and wife team Skip and AJ. Skip and AJ met as flatmates more than 18 years ago, and immediately hit it off. They have many years working in hospitality together and love what they do. Their goal is to create an inviting venue, where customers feel they can relax just as if they were in their own lounge… where locals can bring their families and enjoy being part of the community… and where customers become friends. The new layout features a eatery at one end, and a bar at the other. There’s the Bean Bag area, which is perfect for chilling out. You’ll even find pokies and a TAB. Plus, there are two amazing outdoor areas, perfect for a cold one in the sun and dining al fresco. Some of Skip and AJ’s staff have been with them for more than nine years, so they’re kinda like family. And that’s a good thing, because it means friendly staff, great service… and a really great Phat Duck vibe.
