Days Out Fishing Charters

Growing up in the Bay of Islands has given me a passion and the opportunity to experience the ocean and the fish that inhabit it. I joined the New Zealand Navy straight out of school and spent 5 1/2 years as a navigator traveling all around the world. This enabled me to sit my captains license.

?After spending a few years commercial tuna fishing I finally ended up back up in the Bay of Islands. I had to get back on the ocean so I got involved in the charter fishing industry and have never looked back. I now hold an Offshore Watchkeepers certificate. ?

We are excited to have you join us fishing and to show you our wonderful playground, Bay of Islands is home to some of the biggest Snapper and Kingfish in the world. I look forward to sharing some of my experiences and showing you the amazing fishing we have on our door step here in the stunning Bay of Islands.
