Barberra is bringing a contemporary casual, fresh restaurant providing to the Christchurch dining scene. Barberra offers you reasonably prices, welcoming dining so you can dine the way you want to. Choose from shared or individual plates, or go one step further and book a tasting menu to sample dishes from our menu and creations from our chef. Join us for a wine, a snack, just dessert or a full meal- the choice is yours! We always try to have space for last minute bookings and walk-ins, so pop in and see us! Our menu is based on fresh, seasonal ingredients and the flavours and influences of both local suppliers and the Pacific Rim. Both our food and beverage menus feature a large number of plants and flowers from our Harewood and roof-top gardens. We believe in a root and stalk philosophy, reusing as much of the plant as possible. Our proteins are all free range and line caught where possible. You will see a large range of our dishes are gluten free, keto friendly, and easily adaptable to make vegetarian or vegan. Our custom built charcoal grill is a huge feature to our open plan kitchen – if you are wanting to watch the kitchen we recommend requesting a high table when you book, or even to sit at the kitchen pass and watch the chefs while you eat.
