Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diners will not be disappointed with the choices available to them and all our produce is free range where possible. Our bakers offer fresh bread, cakes and biscuits daily and our coffee is roasted on site. Whether it’s a quick meeting and coffee, a relaxed brunch or a leisurely dinner with a bottle of wine, Astoria’s ready to welcome you. ? Astoria is well known for consistently extraordinary good coffee. Our two Wega espresso machines are never silent. At the heart of our operation is a 1950’s gas fired, 5 kilo, Vittoria coffee roaster that allows us to masterfully craft our house blend. Astoria’s house blend coffee beans are available for purchase from the café. We have our own dedicated in-house bakery and bake a large variety of bread products fresh every day, including specialty breads and non-yeasted sourdoughs. All our bread is additive and GM-free and made to a premium standard using traditional artisan methods. Our breads are available to buy from our bakery, along with our house-made jams. ? Our chefs source grass fed, free-range New Zealand beef from prime Angus, PrimeStar and Wakanui. The Wakanui beef has been aged for 21 days. Our lamb comes courtesy of the Hawkes Bay Gourmet Lamb Company. ? Petone Company t Leaf T is home to New Zealand’s most exciting range of teas and infusions from premium ingredients sourced from around the world. Produced on the wild West Coast of New Zealand, each batch of hot chocolate and chai crafted by West Coast Cocoa Merchants is blended with care in small batches to ensure consistency and premium quality. The company is committed to fair, ethical trade, and source their West African cocoa through the UTZ Certified Cocoa Programme.
