Akaroa's beautiful harbour is set in an ancient volcanic crater and is home to some rare native wildlife including Hector's dolphins, little blue penguins and fur seals. You have options of wildlife cruises and swimming with the dolphins, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, cycling and scenic walking trails. Visit the Museum, Lighthouse, Galleries and Cafes.
